Our company, which started its manufacturing life on the basis of handicraft in a period when mechanization was not as common as it is today, was founded by İrfan BAKIRMEKIK in 1951.
Our workshop, which has been producing classical furniture for many years, has entered the institutionalization process over time with the developing design understanding and technology. In this direction, in 1994, with the renewal of our machinery in our facilities, besides the production of furniture, the production of laminate cabinet door, countertop and doors began.
Since the beginning of the 2000s, our company has started to provide interior design and consultancy services with its expert team, in addition to the design and production of custom furniture, and has signed many prestigious projects.
Our company, which has transferred its experience and equipment from generation to generation since 1951, with the participation of the third generation; has been involved in numerous projects such as residences, hotels, hospitals, administrative buildings, shopping centers, schools, etc. Combining modernity and comfort in furniture and decoration, Mekikler provides services at home and abroad with its products that combine high technology and human labor.
Our Izmir-based company, which provides service with its expert team and machine park that is renewed day by day in a closed area of 2000 square meters, started its activities in the Toronto/Canada office as of 2022.
